I'll list pros and cons below...cons first because one was quite strange and unresolved. Overall, if they fix a couple of things, we would rent again.

Cons:
1) tub was partially clogged (but there was a second shower that drained fine)
2) clothes dryer re-circ door full of lint so it took multiple hours to dry a small load and it is probably a hazard
3) this was the rough issue: 2nd day, condo smells of colvent fumes very strongly. (like acetone and sharpie markers) They sent maintenance guy quickly, everyone was helpful but rhey just couldnt reolve the issue. Smell carried home in all of our belongings.
4) emails and all dtatements say 4:00 checkin, but apparently contract says somewhere in fine print that cleaning crew has until 5 pm (thankfully, they did finish up in time for us to check in on-time because you cant get parking pass until checkin)
5) elevators super slow...we took stairs entire time
6) the tv's are almost unusable with old cables and verrry slow loading service with LG TV & some kind of directtv cable or something. Really bad.
Pros:
1) Amazing location! 4th floor doable for stairs, right on the beach, amazing view, very quiet, end of hall condo, so its away from dtairs and elevator and trash shute
2) THE BED!!! so comfortable. I saw in older reviews there were issues and it was replaced recently. Incredibly comfoetable!!!
3) 2 full bathrooms! We were just a couple but it was great having 2.
4) customer service was helpful
5) room was clean and well stocked and had great balcony where we spent the first of every morning and end of each day

Overall, a great stay...despite the intense fumes

The unusual odor was a first for us. We checked the condo, contacted the neighboring unit’s manager, and are happy to report the smell disappeared and has not returned.

My family and I have stayed here twice and plan on booking here again possibly. It’s literally right on the beach. You get your own covered parking spot. Walking distance to places to eat and shop. Rooms are nice and clean. Great stay!!

This is the perfect beach pad for families. This was our 4th stay at this property. Simple but very nice and clean. Great access to the beach. It allows you to forget you are surrounded by skyscrapper condos. I highly recommend 702 ocean reef and Gulfsands Rentals!

This was our third time at Gulfside Townhomes and our first in #13. It was just as amazing as the others. Our absolute favorite place to stay in Gulf Shores. Low density complex, great pool, convenient parking and easy beach access. Never crowded and no elevators. Highly recommend!

This condo is great, everything pttetty much has been remodeled. Furniture was very nice and appliances were excellent. Really liked the stand alone life maker. Porch and balcony had beautiful views and plenty of space. Will definitly rent this one again.

We got lucky to find a good deal on this place. It was beautiful, centrally located, and priced nicely. Directly on the beach, would recommend!

The condo was exactly how it was described. Perfect size for our family. It was walkable to lots of restaurants and shops.
