Shoalwater 1102 - Gulf Front - Awesome Views!

Great on the ocean property convenient to all Orange Beach has to offer. We had two families of 4 in the condo and while it was tight at times, the condo had plenty of seating. Both king beds slept perfectly and kids loved the bunk bed room. Facilities were well kept and clean. Only complaint was slow elevators that shut quickly. - (May 2026)

This condo was perfect for us. Everything was clean and the views were amazing. If you're coming to orange beach and want a kid friendly place with a pool and easy access to the beach, this is it. We had a blast for the 3 days we stayed and the kids loved it as well. We will definitely be returning in the future. - (Aug 2025)

The condo was very nice and just as advertised. Location was great, close to everything and easy beach access. There are several games in the closet and our family loved playing those. Beds/couches were very comfy. The things we didn't care for was that every dish in the cabinets had food and/or a sticky substance on them and had to be washed before being used. We also didn't like the "violation police" that walked around and gave out violations. We were getting ready to go to dinner, sat our trash out to take it down with us as we left and got a violation. Others staying beside us got violation for having towels on their balcony. Seemed a little extreme. Also, the elevators weren't working properly and one of them was shut down completely, which made traveling to/from the 11th floor long/difficult.

We're truly sorry about the dishes - that's definitely not the experience we want for our guests. Even though the dishes are up to the guests, we've followed up with our cleaning team to make sure this doesn't happen again. As for the security, we understand it can feel a bit strict, but their goal is to keep Shoalwater a clean, safe, and enjoyable place for everyone. We appreciate your understanding on that front. We're just now learning there was any elevator outage and are sorry to hear that-issues like that can definitely be frustrating, especially when you're on a higher floor. Mother's Day Trip

We had a quick trip to the beach for Mother's Day and we had a great time! The kids loved the pools and the adults love the location!

Overall, it was a great stay!

PROS: - very nicely decorated - just as shown in photos - plenty of balcony seating and living room seating - round tables on balcony and dining room were perfect for playing cards - perfect beach view - you can literally sleep 4 more people on the comfortable living room reclining furniture - short boardwalk/very close to the beach CONS: - bath towels are TINY - bedroom balcony door handle is broken off - dryer took several cycles to dry - living room ceiling is flaking/falling - baseboards were dirty/found some Cheerios on the floor
