This condo is a little older but has everything you need for a great vacation. A great value, close to restaurants and shops. It's a small complex so the beach isn't crowded which is a plus these days! Covered parking was quite the perk, we'll be back! - (Aug 2020 - VRBO)

Senior 2020 MOMs Getaway & Celebration

Southern Sands was a smart location for us older Moms. 1st floor and short trek across the sand to the water. Food and shopping within walking distance. Cool little pool too. Definitely not the most modern and newest condo on the strip but worked for us. The only complaint is the beds were way too stiff and the sheets could be more comfortable(less scratchy. every move sounded like sandpaper or tissue paper crumbling.) The check-in process was super easy. Keyless entry took away anxiety of locking the keys in and having to call someone. The view was great. Spring Break 2017

The condo is as pictured and was very clean! We will definitely rent this unit again for future trips! Just wished there was more than one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom. For a family of four that simply is not enough and we ran out in one bathroom and we stayed 5 nights. But will always rent through Gulf Sandsas they are all pleasant to work with and are very helpful when looking for a rental! - (Apr 2017)

Perfect location

Right in the center of it all is this gem. Great place. Clean and comfortable. Perfect for walking to all there is gulf shores has to offer. Close to several food stops and a Beach front access to enjoy your days. I would go back next year. - (Mar 2017 - Flipkey)

Beautiful

We absolutely loved having our own private balcony on the beach. It was wonderful to enjoy our coffee and watch the sunrise or sit outside at night to hear the waves, but not get back in the sand. The unit is awesome, but could use more pots and pans for cooking. We've definitely found our annual girls' trip destination, and now where we'll be staying, too. Great place for short stay
