Great Location

The bad - Property overall is a little dated. Looks like the exterior could use some updating. Not as clean as we would have liked. Parking was convenient under the unit, as others have stated the downside to this is people are walking by your car to get to the beach access. The good - Location is wonderful, you're literally steps from the beach. Unit has just about everything inside you would need for your stay. Great location, right on the beach. Very convenient

We had assigned parking but it was right next to the beach access. There was no other way to go through the access except through our parking space. The people carry their chairs, umbrellas and surf board and one scratched my car. Called the rental agency but the guy who answered was not very helpful Nor could offer any alternative - (Aug 2020 - VRBO)

Overall nice but needs work

Obviously an older property but clean and ocean front. Plaster in kitchen was falling, hairdryer was broken, ac dropped a lot, but otherwise nice. - (Aug 2020 - VRBO)

Harbor House

I liked it, but had to have housekeeping bring a new bed spread bc there was blood on it!!! The building needs work as well as the broken glass & trash out of the parking lot! The beach was beautiful though! - (Aug 2020 - VRBO)

Excellent location. Great for small family.

Location is unbeatable, as good as it gets. Property could use a really nice deep clean when the peak season is over, but understandable considering we went over the 4th of July Holiday. Also, the bedframe in the spare bedroom needs to be replaced ASAP. Overall, great value for the price and would definitely do it again if opportunity presents itself. - (Jul 2020 - VRBO)

Loved being so close to the beach

Loved that we were close to the beach and that you had to have a key to get the the beach so it was more private. Only issue we had was floors felt a tad unclean and felt sand in our sheets first night, but I mean you're on a beach so it's expected. - (Jun 2020 - VRBO)

Great family trip

Really nice place!

2 of the 3 of us that rented this condo were very ill with flu. The management was kind enough to let us occupy early. Very appreciated! One night in the very comfortable beds, and they were almost good as new. The view is remarkable. The bathroom was very nice, it looked brand new, and new floors in the condo. A nice comfortable sofa, a table outside on the deck with 4 chairs for al fresco dining. Plenty of cooking utensils, plates, flatware and drinkware. Snowbirding

Condo was just like the pictures posted. Close to the beach. Just a couple of small problems. But they were taken care. It would be nice if there was a recliner or a bigger comfortable chair. Will be back next year. - (Jan 2020 - VRBO)

Beachy Fun

Our vacation to Gulf Shores was fabulous. Harbor House was everything that I expected it to be; nothing too fancy, and perfectly appropriate for me and my children. The A/C was good, ceiling fans all worked, washer/dryer was handy to have in the unit. Beds were comfortable. I would have liked a dustpan to go with the broom that was provided in the unit. We spent most of our time on the beach, or on the deck looking at the beach. My only issue with the condo was not related to Gulf Sands or Harbor House; the wifi was spotty at best, and when calling the internet provider for help, although they were quick and attentive, they could not get the wifi to work well, or consistently. Harbor House was a great condo complex, the people were quite friendly. Our beach guy from Ike's was also great. We plan to head back, as we made friends from all over the country and they all stay at Harbor House. Thank you! - (Jul 2015)
