Wonderful

I stayed with my husband and 3 children. We had such a good stay. The house is directly on the ocean. We walked back and forth daily. I could send my kids to the ocean and see them from the house. The house was walking distance to the lagoon and multiple shops and restaurants. The house was roomy for us. The kids slept in multiple spots throughout our stay because there were options. :) Very pleased! - (Sep 2024)

Peaceful Location

We enjoyed the contactless check-in and our stay was 5 days of relaxation. Perfect location for beach privacy and a short driving distance to restaurants and entertainment. Family of five adults and an infant had plenty of room. Steps to the beach, clean, comfortable beds, and again...perfect location. Would definitely stay again!

Great location!

We had a wonderful time in Gulf Shores during our stay at Toto. The condo was perfect for our needs! Internet was great. Lots of excellent TVs already hooked up to streaming services and channels. Beds had great mattresses. The best part is you are directly on the beach! The location is perfect. You are minutes from all kinds of restaurants and stores. The beach wasn't crowded, it is far enough away from the high rises and public access so it's basically you and a few neighbors. The master bedroom is on the second floor and it shares a bathroom with the bedroom with twin beds. There is extremely low water pressure in the showers. We really needed a broom at a minimum in the condo to help with sand control. We would happily rent this one again!

Relaxing get away

The communication with Golf-Sands for checking in as well checking out was great. Their responses to any questions or concerns were timely. The place was clean and the listing was accurate. Location was within walking distance to restaurants and had direct access to the beach. Enjoyed the great views of sunrises and sunsets, as well as watching dolphins, pelicans and Herons. The location is great, on the beach with private beach access. There were some issues with the unit--there is no comfortable place to sit in the living area--the couch and love seat have no support and one sinks down into it, making it hard to get out of. Some of the electrical outlets have no power to them--the one right by the front door, one in the bathroom--had to use the hair dryer using an outlet in the kitchen. Only one outlet in the kitchen that worked, also outlets in the master bathroom upstairs--not all worked. Also the sliding door in the master bedroom isn't sealed properly and when we had a wind/thunderstorm, it whistled loudly all night and we had to sleep downstairs. The outside steps into the unit are steep and there is no landing when trying to put in the code--I recently had hip surgery and this is a bit scary. The kitchen also is not well equipped.

Fast get away

Absolutely loved it it was furnished nice and no problem with electronics it was spacious and not overcrowded with pieces that wasn't necessary and you could tell it was well taken care and very clean that is a must for me hated leaving but the real world calls I think I would have liked a broom and dustpan hated not being able to sweep up all the sand instead of leaving it for you guys

We had a great time. My daughters truly enjoyed the trip, and especially loved being able to walk out the door straight down to the beach. I wouldnt stay any place that wasnt right on the beach. Even with the pipe bursting and loss of water when we arrived, YOU TOOK CARE OF IT SO FAST & on Christmas Eve!! It was greatly appreciated!! Handled very well! The location is the best part! Close to most everything & yet seems far away and right on the beach!! Walk straight out ! If I had to complain about anything .. it would be the dishwasher is horrible. We tried to use it but the dishes came out dirtier than when they went in.. so I spent my Christmas vacation hand washing all the dishes constantly, due to 5 people and cooking daily. Otherwise, The house was very nice! Exactly how pictured! Perfect space for our family of 5! We had one of our BEST Christmas's EVER!! I sent some pictures to show how we turned it into our Christmas Beach House! BTW .. the people who complain about uncomfortable furniture or "needing new barstools".. or pots and pans sticking .. Need to realize they came to the beach and shouldn't be on the couch or barstools long enough to care! Geez. people are ridiculous! Bar stools are fine .. furniture is worn in, but fine! Pots and pans .. used .. but fine! Reading the reviews ahead and instructions from you .. I knew to bring Paper products and trash bags and supplies needed & we were just FINE!! AWESOME!! Great Beach Access

This was a very nice duplex with direct beach access. The house itself was clean and comfortable. We did have trouble finding brooms to sweep up sand but the property management team assisted us with that. I feel that a few amenities could have been provided such as trash bags and toilet paper but those can be purchased easily. The pots and pans are in dire need of replacement. We like to make our own meals and found that it was difficult when we are used to using non-stick pans. The last night was rough as the neighbor of the connecting duplex proceeded to slam doors and cause the walls to shake all night long. All in all it was a good place to stay for a week. We would definitely stay there again if we go back to Gulf Shores and I've recommended it to other friends. - (Nov 2022 - VRBO)

Kentucky Beach lovers

Great stay at toto

Check in was simple. Read the directions carefully. Place was.clean and everything needed was there. Walk out the back door and the beach is right behind it. The house is situated perfectly. Needs attention

Place is in a great location and has great access to the beach! Unfortunately it needs to be updated throughout. Had no cleaning products, had to go get trash bags and toilet paper. Booked for a week and feel basic necessities should have been provided. If you want an affordable place with great beach access this is your place. Lovely

This property is great for a family. We loved the location. It's close to town but far enough away from the condos so you get your own spot in the beach. We loved having a beach for our backyard for a week! The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Wish we could go back now! - (Jun 2020 - VRBO)
