Absolutely Perfect Location

Wasn't sure how close this would be to the beach or what my exact view of the beach would be vs. pool and it's difficult to know the accuracy of a description...they are so subjective. But the condo complex is very small so everything is very close. We could see the beach with little obstruction from balony and the sand was literally 100 ft from the staircase. The pool was right outside our door which allowed for the kids 11-17 to walk back and. Forth from both with low supervision (which made our adult time equally as good). Super close to many souvenir stores, many restaurants and the Hangout. "The spot" (new) was also great. Condo was clean and cozy for the 6 of us. Absolutely only complaint was that the people upstairs can be loud above especially early morning...but it got us to the beach earlier to stake our spot. ?? Highly recommend! - (Jul 2020 - VRBO)

Steps from the sand. Nice pool, responsive manager. Would suggest management consider adding the following missing unexpected items: blow dryer (had to purchase one), non see through curtains in the kids' room, a blender (this was a real disappointment), colander, and a slotted spoon. Great value for beach front property!

The best thing about this property is it's location! We walked to several restaurants and stores. It's literally steps from the beach!! The condo is nice and had everything we needed. Only complaints are a few of the dishes were dirty and the coffee pot hadn't been cleaned. We could also hear a lot of noise from the condo above ours the first night but the next two nights were much quieter. Over all we were happy with our stay!!! - (May 2020 - VRBO)

Budget wise.....Fantastic Beach Stay

We enjoyed our stay. The day b fore we left the complex Manager assumed we were parking illegal in our spot We forgot to put our pass in the window. Quick response on there part but made us feel as if a bit uncomfortable after being in the same spot already for the week. No worries. We failed. Rules r rules! We will be back!!!! Great Long weekend vacation!

Spent Labor Day weekend here and loved it with the exception loud neighbors above us, no toilet paper, and the TV...the cable box in the living room doesn't work. That being said, I would definitely recommend this property and will return for another visit! Spacious layout, great views and very clean. Great little condo in Gulf Shores near The Hangout

The condo was very clean and well equipped. Views from the balcony (both bedrooms shared one balcony) were great. The complex had everything you could want, including an ice machine ($3.75 for 10 lbs) and grills. Pool was very clean, lots of shade from the buildings and lots of tables with chairs/umbrellas. Access to the beach was very easy, too. And even though I'm sure the place was full, I didn't hear too much noise (other than the lawn maintenance folks blowing sand off the pavement for a good while) from either the occupants or the street. I really liked the location of this condo within the complex. It had the views, the easy parking and beach access we desired. A/C worked great, kitchen was well stocked and plenty of towels and even an extra set of sheets, if you wanted to use the pull out couch. The owners keep a large dish with shells in it that folks have written little mementos on about their beach visit, which was really cool and the walls were nicely decorated so you didn't feel like you were in a run-of-the mill, chain condo. There was even a "book lending shelf" in one of the closets. And LOTS of channels and movies available on the TV. Like I said in the title - it is walking distance to the Hangout, the public beach access / parking and lots more. Plus, of course, all the Alvin's Islands you could want. All in all, we were very pleased and I would definitely rent again! - (Jul 2019 - VRBO)

Defiantly want to come back!

The location was great. My only problem is that our sink stopper got stuck closed our first day there. I called the property manager the next morning and was told a work order would be put in. After waiting for 2 days I ended up having to dip water out of the sink and get the stopper back out myself. Not a huge problem but very inconvenient with only one bathroom. Family vacation

Overall great experience great view of beach short and easy walk to the beach. Close to everything and stores right across the street walking distance! Fantastic view

We stayed in unit 601 with our 4 kids and had a great stay. The views were fantastic from each bedroom and the beach was within a few steps - the picture is no lie. The kitchen was well equipped with all we needed. You couldn't beat the location as we took the kids on walks to the souvenir shops, the Hangout, Bahama Bobs, ice cream, etc. Would definitely recommend this place. - (Mar 2019 - VRBO)

Loved this condo!

We love Ocean Reef!! It is literally steps away from the beach. And our grandkids love the pool. It is definitely a family friendly condo. This is the 4th year that we have stayed at Ocean Reef and the recent renovations to the outside are fabulous - love the beautiful new color on the outside. This is the first time we stayed in 601 and were very impressed. It was immaculate and the decor was beautiful with a new large screen smart t.v.
