We've rented a condo from GulfSands in Orange Beach, Alabama, for several years, and I'm thrilled to share that this year was the best yet! The condo we stayed in received a beautiful update, enhancing our family's experience and comfort. Additionally, GulfSands has improved the check-in process, making it smoother and quicker for us to start our vacation right away. Beautiful panoramic view

Roomy, newly renovated and beautifully decorated, this condo had plenty of room for our group of 7. The kitchen had everything we needed. Three nice bathrooms (Space out timing of showers so you have enough hot water.) The view was fantastic and the large balcony had plenty of seating and a nice table. The indoor pool was small; it would be great if the larger pool outdoors was heated. The condo was clean and comfy and close to grocery stores. We had a great family vacation. - (Mar 2024 - VRBO)

Family beach getaway

great location on the beach. unit could have been cleaned a little better - there was a moldy baby bottle under couch - and no one cleaned out the coffee pot from last stay - still had filters of coffee in it. floor was sandy. Had to go out and buy trash bags, one a day should be provided for a unit that big, plus 2 rolls of toliet paper per bathroom would have been nice.. BUT we had a good time. - (Jun 2023 - VRBO)

Great 3 bedroom / 3 bath with huge balcony!

We loved having the 3rd bath and the 2 queen beds in one room allowed us to take a few friends of our kids. Right on the beach & the extra table on the balcony was great for a big group. Our only negative was the scavenger hunt to get the door code in heavy traffic during check-in. Text or emailing the code would'be saved stress & 45 min. - (Aug 2020 - VRBO)

Nice stay

1106 Shoalwater

Overall experience was a good one. If I stayed again I would have to make sure mattress in master was replaced. There were two indention's were you just sunk in and comforter while pretty in pics was on its last leg. Ice maker would make a round of ice and then stick in full position, so we never had ice. Master shower drain was slow to drain so when you took a shower the tub would fill. I did not call and ask for anything to be fixed while I was there because I just didn't want to deal with someone coming to our condo. I am sure they would have sent someone had I ask. The wrap around balcony was awesome with nice covered area with table and chairs, pvc furniture could be updated as some supports were broken. Nice laundry room and other two bedrooms and baths had plenty of room and nice closets. Kitchen was well furnished with ever thing you could need including a kerig. - (Jul 2019 - VRBO)

Great Views but smaller than anticipated

The view was amazing, nice corner unit. It worked but we were disappointed in the size. This is advertised as an 1800 square foot unit. I am a Realtor, this is not 1800 square feet. It was smaller than our home which is just under. I found it odd there were no hangers in any of the closets. No big deal, just meant ironing was needed on some packed items. Would have brought a few if we knew. Some updates are needed, master bed mattress needs replacing. Overall, decent but was under the impression this would have been bigger. - (Sep 2018 - VRBO)

Great condo

We've stayed at orange beach many times. We have even stayed at shoalwater many times. This was the best condo we've rented. It was furnished so nicely. We had everything we needed and it wasn't cheap dollar store stuff. The condo was decorated so cute with everything beachy. The beds were comfy and it was very clean. The best view in Orange beach! All sunrises and sunsets stunning multi family location

We stayed for a week with two families totaling 9 people. The sleeping arrangements were more than accommodating. The check in was easy. Short walk from elevators and multiple carts are available. The condo is clean and everything was as discribed. The only issue was screen on master bedroom was impossible to move and keep on track. We left closed and used the two other doors to the deck. The view was fantastic and we had beautiful sunrise sunsets every day. Our first morning we saw Dolphins in the gulf! The sound of the ocean were easily heard but we never heard any other guests. Perfect. Access to the beach was easy and the beach is awesome. Chairs are available to rent and reserve if you choose to do so. Outdoor pool was nice but water cold. I am sure depends on time of year. Indoor pool was warm and hot tub hot however the jets were not working during our stay. If we return to the area we will definitely stay here again. Family vacatiom

We had an amazing time on our vacation and our condo. We do have a few things that were of concern. First there was a cushioned chair in the family room that was so used that none of us would dare sit on. The master bed mattress was broken and leaning which made sleeping very difficult. We enjoyed our condo but would have liked the contents more updated. Other than that, the setup and amazing view was worth the inconveniences. We would definitely stay int the building again.
